Why hooked ends are used

Hooked ends increase mechanical anchorage and can support residual load capacity after cracking when the fiber and dosage are correctly designed and tested.

Shotcrete compatibility

Fiber length, aspect ratio, aggregate size, pumping equipment and nozzle performance must be considered together. Excessively difficult mixing or pumping can undermine field results.

Project testing

Tunnel specifications commonly define performance tests and acceptance criteria. Confirm the exact standard, specimen method and required residual values before supply.
